SSE partners with Ortus Energy to develop rooftop solar for commercial customers

Energy company SSE has signed a deal to partner with Ortus Energy, extending its footprint in the solar market by developing rooftop solar PV installations.
As part of the deal, SSE's customer arm, SSE Energy Solutions, will acquire 13MW of rooftop solar assets already installed across multiple sites owned by six major corporate customers.
SSE also has an exclusive option to finance up to 130MW solar projects at commercial premises over the next three years.
